Back to Basics Green at Cal-a-Vie Health Spa

TS_cal-a-vie-spa4.jpg

Cal-a-Vie Health Spa is taking a retro approach to green with this new French-style windmill, which generates electricity to help power the fancy detox getaway and its quaint, shabby-chic villas and suites. The Californian Cal-a-Vie is already quite efficient: solar panels heat the Olympic-size fitness pool, water is conserved in spa treatments, and floors and ceilings are made from recycled lumber. Greenies will want to go, especially since the weight-loss destination is (ironically) purported to serve great food
