In just two weeks, the first North Carolinians will explore a bright-lit, 127,000-square-foot North Carolina Museum of Art, which reopens on April 24 after a three-year expansion and renovation. The beautifully landscaped grounds are almost as impressive as the blocky building and its contents; the Rodin courtyard above features work by the famous sculptor, Auguste Rodin, which complement the 30 Rodin statues inside the museum's glass-walled sculpture hall. Looks like a marvelous place—more pics after the jump.
